I am Giulio, and I am currently working as a software engineer for Aresys. In other words, I spend my work time developing software, mainly in C++ and Python, to process SAR images for earth observation. I contributed to multiple ESA (European Space Agency) missions like BIOMASS, Sentinel-1, and ROSE-L.

Previously, I have worked for one of the largest technology consulting firm and in a NLP start-up.

I have studied mathematical engineering, which means learning real, complex, and functional analysis mixed up with physics, statistics, and programming.
I am broadly interested in CS, ML, and finance.

As a software developer, I like to use C++ and Python.
As a data scientist, I like Bayesian methods.
As an investor, I like the value investing paradigm.
